Alkalinity
Alkalinity is one of the most important parameters in a reef aquarium. Crucially should be kept stable and around 7-8dKH.

In a reef aquarium, alkalinity is not only depleted by corals but also by other processes. It is therefore important to ensure stable alkalinity levels with the the use of either a 2 part system like Complete or pHplus or a simple buffer like Reef Zlements KH Buffer.
